About this recipe: Need a yummy traybake dessert, but no time for baking? No worries! These peanut butter, chocolate and oat dessert squares are done completely in the microwave, then chilled in the fridge until ready to cut into squares and serve. Try these no-bake wonders as soon as you have time to remember that you have no time to bake...!

Serves: 12 

  • 160g porridge oats
  • 110g dark brown soft sugar
  • 115g butter
  • 175g honey
  • 85g plain chocolate chips
  • 65g peanut butter

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:7min  ›  Extra time:30min chilling  ›  Ready in:42min 

  1. In medium bowl combine oats, sugar, butter and honey. Microwave on high for 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 minutes or until bubbly, stirring twice.
  2. Spread honey mixture in a 20cm square cake tin. Cool in refrigerator.
  3. In small bowl combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until chips are soft, stirring once. Spread over base and refrigerate until chocolate is firm. Cut into squares and enjoy.
