About this recipe: This is a wonderful vegetarian pasta that's quick and easy to make. Spaghetti is served with a garlicky tomato sauce. Enjoy with a side salad or crusty bread, if desired.


Serves: 3 - 4

  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 225g passata
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 225g spaghetti

  1. In a saucepan, heat the oil and add the garlic, cook but do not let garlic brown. Stir in the passata and oregano. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  2. While the sauce is simmering, cook spaghetti as per packet's instructions and drain.
  3. Pour sauce over cooked spaghetti and serve.
