    About this recipe: A super-easy fish dish, which is quick to throw together. Haddock is baked with onion, condensed mushroom soup and Cheddar cheese. Enjoy with buttery mash and peas.

    Serves: 6 

    • 900g haddock fillets
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 (295g) tin condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 onion, thinly sliced
    • 115g grated mild Cheddar cheese

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Lightly butter a 2 litre baking dish.
    2. Arrange fish fillets in the bottom of the prepared dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Layer onion slices over fish. Spread cream of mushroom soup over all and top with cheese.
    3. Bake in preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until bubbly and fish flakes easily with a fork.
