Easy beef pasta bake
This is a cheap and cheerful dish, which is quick and easy to make. Pasta is baked with beef with condensed soup and processed cheese.
Ingredients
Serves: 8
- 225g pasta
- 450g lean minced beef
- 1 (295g) tin condensed tomato soup
- 1 (295g) tin condensed vegetable soup
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 8 slices processed cheese, such as Kraft singles

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
- In a large frying pan over medium heat, brown the minced beef; drain fat. Stir in tomato and vegetable soups, salt and pepper. Mix in the pasta and cook for 10 minutes.
- Transfer mixture to an 18x28cm baking dish and layer with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly brown.

I have made this several times now and it's always great! What makes it extra yummy is using Velveeta Extra Thick cheese slices. I think there are 10 in a package and I use the entire package. I use an 8x8 glass dish and put half of the slices in the middle and the rest on top. This keeps well and the left overs are great.
