    About this recipe: A delicious variation of the classic chewy treats. These are flavoured with ground cardamom and dotted with cashews and golden raisins.

    Makes: 24 treats

    • 115g unsalted butter
    • 285g mini marshmallows
    • 170g crispy rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
    • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
    • 135g chopped unsalted cashew nuts
    • 165g golden raisins

    1. In a large bowl, toss together the cereal, cashew nuts and raisins. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Stir in the marshmallows and cardamom until smooth. Pour in the cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated. Spread evenly in a greased baking dish and pat down lightly. Cool and cut into squares.
