About this recipe: This pasta salad can be a main for a packed lunch, summer barbecue or picnic on the heath. Spiral shaped fusilli pasta mixes beautifully with ham, cherry tomatoes, garlic, fresh parsley, Parmesan cheese and a lightly creamy dressing of milk and mayonnaise. Filling and refreshing!

Serves: 7 

  • 250g mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 15g chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 225g fusilli (spiral) pasta
  • 175g diced ham
  • 300g halved cherry tomatoes

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until al dente. Drain, rinse, and drain once more. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine mayonnaise, grated cheese, parsley, milk and garlic. Mix well. Stir in pasta, ham and tomatoes. Chill for several hours.

lovely -the only tweak i did was to leave out the garlic but it was still very tasty - 26 May 2015
