    About this recipe: A scrumptious nibble, that's both cheap and easy to make! Great for casual parties or with drinks whilst watching the match!

    Serves: 16 

    • 140g pitted black olives, chopped
    • 5 tablespoons chopped spring onions
    • 170g grated Cheddar cheese
    • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
    • 8 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 8 English muffins, split in half

    1. Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
    2. In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine olives, spring onions, Cheddar cheese, curry powder, mayonnaise and salt. Mix well.
    3. Spread mixture on muffin halves. Cut the muffins into fourths. (Note: If you want to freeze these, now is the time! Arrange the muffin pieces on a baking tray, freeze till frozen, then place in a freezer bag.)
    4. Bake at 200 C / Gas 6 for 10 minutes.


    Make these under the grill instead to save time and energy.
