About this recipe:
A simple French toast recipe that anyone can make. Use your favourite bread and serve with syrup, bacon and fresh fruit for an American-style brunch.
175ml (6 fl oz) semi skimmed milk
3 tablespoons light brown soft sugar
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
12 slices bread
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, brown sugar and nutmeg; stir well to combine.
- Soak bread slices in the egg mixture until saturated.
- Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Brown slices on both sides, sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot.
Tasted Nice and quick to cook. doesnt need that long.

this is lush toped with syrup off your choise and bacon naughty but nice

I thought this was lovely.....pretty sweet so I couldnt eat lots....i dont have a sweet tooth at all....but it was delicious what I could manage.
