    About this recipe: This creamy pasta salad is loaded with prawns and flavoured with garlic, thyme and Parmesan cheese. Great for a summer barbecue.

    Serves: 10 

    • 450g vermicelli pasta
    • 450g cooked and peeled prawns
    • 2 sticks celery, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 clove garlic, crushed
    • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
    • 250g mayonnaise
    • 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
    • salt and pepper to taste

    1. Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to the boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
    2. Toss cooled pasta with cooked prawns, celery, parsley, garlic, thyme, mayonnaise, Parmesan, salt and pepper. Chill before serving.
