Quinoa is a great alternative to rice - it's lighter, tastes nutty and cooks in about half the time. In this recipe it's tossed with onion, garlic and fresh herbs to make a quick and easy side.

I made this last night but tweaked it a little. Since I didn't fancy eating raw garlic and raw onion I added them during the cooking process and it was delicious. I just had the leftovers for breakfast! - 08 Mar 2014
