Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Lin a bun tray with 12 paper cases. Sift flour, bicarbonate of soda and cocoa powder together; set aside.
Whisk mayo, caster sugar, water and vanilla together until thoroughly mixed. Add flour mixture slowly and beat at medium speed using electric beaters for 2 minutes. Spoon evenly into prepared bun cases.
