I am an experienced baker, but these muffins were a disaster. I don't think the amount of flour stated is enough - it should be at least twice as much. Will try again using more flour. - 28 Jun 2012
Loved this recipe. I made a few substitutions as I didn't have whole flour so just used all plain flour. Also no dark sugar so just added more granulated sugar ...oh and no caster sugar so used granulated. The smell and flavour was lovely. My husband loved them. The mixture was a bit thick. I think next time I might add a bit more milk and baking powder so they rise a bit more and are less dense. The flavour combination is fab. Good way to use up lemons and strawberries. Will def make again with a few tweaks. - 14 Feb 2014
