2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons cornflour
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 spring onions, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
335g cooked king prawns, shelled

In a bowl, stir together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornflour, honey, cayenne and ground ginger. Set aside.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Stir in spring onions and garlic; cook 30 seconds. Stir in shrimp, and toss to coat with oil. Stir in sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.
Tried this recipe on Saturday, enjoyed it so much passed it on to friends to try the on Sunday. Made the sauce a few hours ahead so the flavours could blend with each other. Didn't have spring onion so use a white onion. Also used cheats chopped garlic. As my husband doesn't eat prawns I split the sauce and served his meal with chicken. It worked just as well.
