Cover over any remaining icing and put it in the fridge for 1 week.

I've done this specific recipe great many times but in a very different way: instead of oil I used melted margarine, milk instead of water and 4 instead of 3 eggs. Seperated the eggs, beated the yolks with the liquids, added the mix, beated again and finally the beaten egg whites. Maybe it's more difficult but it never fails: it turns out very fluffy, tall and is always a success. - 17 Apr 2015
