Yep Rachael , I'm from the UK and live in the US too and that's what I do. What kind of sausage meat do you use? I found to begin with that it is SO terribly fatty that the pastry always ended up soggy, so I used a cooling rack in my pan and lifted the rolls up off the bottom of the pan so they didn't soak the fat back up. i'm from the UK too living in iowa, i add some parsley and basil and some black pepper, cool on a cooling rack, been making them like that before i left the UK. discovered if you like them spicy you could add Tabasco too - 22 Oct 2013
really nice, i added chopped apple and cranberries. had to cook them for about 8 mins longer - 16 Dec 2012
