    • lemon pepper
    • 1 whole chicken (skin on)

    Prep:7min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:52min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Spread lemon pepper over the skin of the chicken.
    3. Bake the chicken until juices no longer run pink, about 45 minutes.
    4. Remove the skin of chicken (optional) and serve.

    This is a very basic roasted chicken recipe, but, the lemon pepper did give it great flavor. I added some softened butter under the skin of the chicken breasts and on top of the skin before sprinkling on the lemon pepper and a little salt. My chicken did take about 1-1/2 hrs. to cook at this temperature because it was a larger chicken.  -  03 Feb 2015
