These little doughnut rounds are easy and quick to make. To make them even faster, you can make the dough the night before, cover and keep them in the fridge overnight. That way, all you have to do is heat your oil, fry and serve. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a comforting pud.
Easy and excellent. With the full amount of milk, the batter turned out very runny, so I added 10g flour and chilled it; it cooked great. Next time I'll just add slightly less milk. Definitely only use teaspoonfuls because the balls rise a lot! - 28 Jan 2018
Really lovely little doughnuts. Quick and easy and very tasty. Made them with my 5 yr old grandson. We used a mixture of diff' sugars for coating. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. - 15 Jan 2014
such a gorgeous recipe, my grandson enjoy eg making them and they are now a family favourite for special occasions. Used vanilla sugar instead of spice for the grandchildren, serve with ice cream and enjoy - 09 Feb 2013
