About this recipe: This is an impressive dinner party dessert but also the perfect end to a romantic meal. These would melt anyone's heart! Serve with ice cream, if desired.


Serves: 20 

  • 400g dark chocolate
  • 440g butter
  • 400g caster sugar
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 8 eggs
  • 170g plain flour

Prep:15min  ›  Cook:9min  ›  Ready in:24min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 240 C / Gas 9.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler and mix.
  3. Beat the eggs, yolks and sugar until fluffy and white.
  4. Combine the chocolate/butter mixture and eggs/sugar mixture and stir.
  5. Add the flour.
  6. Pour into a flexible silicone muffin trays or individual silicone muffin cups. Cook for 9 or 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
