About this recipe: This salad is an ideal starter which you can bulk up with apple, extra walnuts and herbs if you need it to be more substantial.


Serves: 4 

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 60g lambs lettuce
  • A few chives
  • 12 slices duck breast (preferably smoked)
  • 10 walnuts, chopped

  1. Add the salt, pepper, a tablespoon of sherry vinegar and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl and mix. Pour over the lettuce and add the chives.
  2. Place the slices of smoked duck on top and sprinkle over chopped walnuts.
