If you want to add meat, I suggest either chicken breast or diced beef. Brown while frying the vegetables, and add when you add the spices.

Made this for lunch! I was VERY surprised about how rich the flavor was! So delicious. I love food with a lot of flavor, so this had a high level to live up to. And boy it did. I had 3 plates (Really bad lol) VERY VERY tasty I now have a regular green lentil recipe! Woop woop. - 12 Apr 2015
