Heavenly Vietnamese beef meatballs

    These delicious meatballs are infused with great spices and chilli flavours. They go well with boiled rice and stir fried vegetables on the side! Yummy for dinner!

    Serves: 3 

    • 500g beef mince
    • 5 shallots, finely chopped
    • 1 egg
    • 5 bird's eye chilli, finely chopped
    • 2 stalks lemon grass
    • 1 tablespoon finely chopped root ginger
    • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 1 tablespoon curry powder
    • 2 tablespoons lime juice
    • 1 handful freshly chopped coriander
    • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
    • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Put all the ingredients listed above into a big mixing bowl and stir well.
    2. Take one spoonful of the meat mixture at a time and roll into a meatball (depending the size you want).
    3. Place them carefully into a hot frying pan and cook for about 10 minutes each side.
    4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Serving suggestion

    To make the beef balls even more tasty, simply add some chopped onions into the hot frying pan 3 minutes before the beef balls are ready!
