About this recipe:
I had this tea in Egypt when I got an upset stomach. It's refreshing and really does ease stomach upsets.
4 teaspoons cumin seeds
runny honey to taste
lemon juice to taste
- Use 1 teaspoon of seeds per cup. Boil the kettle, then when boiled, let stand for 3 minutes before using.
- Put the cumin seeds in a teapot or individual cups and pour over the water. Leave to infuse for about 10 minutes.
- Pour into cups if using a teapot and season with the honey and lemon.
