    About this recipe: Crab sticks are blended with yoghurt to make an easy, low fat starter. This recipe is kindly provided by Judy.

    Makes: 1 pate

    • 8 crab sticks
    • 1 tin mackerel in tomato sauce
    • 1 teaspoon very low fat natural yoghurt
    • 2 to 3 squirts lemon juice

    Prep:10min  ›  Extra time:2hr chilling  ›  Ready in:2hr10min 

    1. Blend all of the ingredients together. Chill for up to 2 hours.

    This is extremely easy to make. By mistake I bought mackerel in oil, so I used that instead. I thought there might be a lack of flavour with there being no tomato sauce so added extra crab sticks about 10 in total, whizzed it all up and added the natural yogurt to the desired consistency as too with the lemon juice. FANTASTIC love it. Thanks for the original recipe  -  06 Aug 2015
