Apple frog prince

    10 min

A very healthy and fun snack for kids. I made these for my kids and they were a total hit - every bite gobbled up in no time!

    6 people made this

    Serves: 1

    • 1/4 Granny Smith apple, cored
    • 3 green grapes, halved
    • 1 teaspoon cream cheese
    • 2 raisins or currants

    Prep:10min  ›  Ready in:10min

    1. Take one quarter of the apple and place it on a serving place. Cut a small slit in the middle for the frog's mouth.
    2. Place two grape halves on the side of the apple quarter, for the arms. With the remaining four halves, cut little slits into one end of each to make fingers. Place a half at the end of each arm for the hands, then place two in front for the feet.
    3. Place two dollops of cream cheese (you may need to shape it with your hands a little) for the whites of the eyes, then place a raisin or currant in the centre of each for the pupil.

Great fun, children really enjoyed making a frog that they could then eat. So simple but really effective.  -  13 May 2015
