About this recipe: I wanted a quick and easy meal to prepare for the slow cooker which was a tasty and economical treat to come home to. Lamb is cooked tender and tasty with full flavours from Heinz Lentil Soup, curry powder and vegetables. A hearty meal for the family.

I tried this and it is good as it stands ,but I switched it up a bit the second time,I substituted the lentil soup for 4oz /110g of red lentils(added at the same time as the water in the beginning) and increased the water to 300ml.I agree with Betsy I usually have lentils but I had to go out to buy the soup the first time as its not something I would usually have in the cupboard, but I like to follow a recipe exact the first time and then mess a little, either way it always gets eaten - 19 Mar 2014

Thank you for posting this recipe, the kind we all need when we can throw a great meal into the slow cooker. However, considering lentils are cheap and quick and I don't always have a tin of soup handy, this recipe could be greatly improved by adding some variations. - 07 Feb 2013
