Leave out the sugar when preparing the base for a lovely bittersweet taste. You can leave out the chocolate altogether by substituting it with a few drops of vanilla flavouring.
Crush one extra Oreo cookie to dust and mix into the cream cheese mix for an Oreo flavour throughout the cheesecake.

just made this, took me around an hour but i had other distractions! the mixture tastes gorgeous but some guidelines on what size tin to use as i had to make extra mixture to fill the tin i used but otherwise it looks delicious! can't wait to serve it after dinner. yum yum - 21 Jan 2012
It was crunchy and sweet but not sickly which i enjoyed. The white chocolate hint was fantastic. This recipe was really nice and easy to follow. I had to use more oreos to create a thicker base. I would suggest you keep it in the fridge a lot longer as the white chocolate takes a lot longer to set. However, that said it went down a treat. Had a riot on my hands! This recipe has gone into my recipe book and will definitely be repeated again. - 17 Jul 2014
