About this recipe: Really easy, tasty and tangy lime and orange ice cream! No need for an ice cream maker or fancy gadgets.

Makes: 1 Tub

  • 1 orange
  • 2 limes
  • 175g icing sugar
  • 584ml double cream

Prep:20min  ›  Extra time:5hr freezing  ›  Ready in:5hr20min 

  1. Zest the orange and 1 lime. Juice the orange and both limes and strain the juice into a bowl.
  2. Mix in zest and sugar until dissolved.
  3. Add in cream, and whip until firm.
  4. Put in airtight container and freeze for 3-5 hours.


Can make recipe with just oranges if desired.

Freezing tip

Remove to soften for 15-20 minutes (or 30-40 in the fridge) before eating.
