About this recipe: A little sweet savoury sauce to eat with spring rolls, to dip tempura, or to add some extra flavour to any meal.

Serves: 4 

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons sherry or apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped root ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons dark or light brown soft sugar
