Cut the ciabatta in half lengthways and place the cut side up under a medium grill for a few minutes. Remove from the heat and spread the base with pesto then add the remaining ingredients on top, except the basil, ending with a drizzle of olive oil. Place the ciabatta lid on top and place on a baking tray.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and the inside is warm. Remove from the oven, garnish with basil and serve.
