About this recipe: Easy chocolate spider cakes made with cake mix and any decorations you like. Nice and scary for Halloween. Mmmmmmm!

Ingredients

Makes: 12 

  • 1 box Cadbury® cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • some water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tube Smarties®
  • fang sweets
  • 24 pieces of liquorice
  • ready made icing

Method

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Extra time:5min cooling  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Add Cadbury® cake mix to bowl. Add egg and water and olive oil. Whisk at slow speed first. Then whisk at full speed for 3 minutes.
  2. Put in the oven until they rise and a skewer inserted near the centre comes out clean, about 10 or 15 minutes. Leave to cool for 10 minutes. Add icing.
  3. Add fang sweets for teeth, push in the liquorice for their legs and decorate their faces.
  4. Then eat. Yum!
