About this recipe: We've all heard of chicken nuggets... These pheasant nuggets are just as delicious and great for entertaining.


Serves: 4 

  • 170g butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 300g dried Italian breadcrumbs
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 6 pheasant breasts, cubed

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter and add garlic. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  2. In large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Dip pheasant pieces in garlic butter then toss in breadcrumb mixture. Arrange pieces in single layer in shallow baking tray. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake at 180 C / Gas 4 for 45 minutes, do not cover.
