About this recipe: It's light and tastes sooooo good. I made it according to my tastes and my whole family loves it !!!

Serves: 8 

  • 135g strawberry jelly
  • sponge cake mix
  • 600ml custard
  • whipped cream
  • 13 strawberries

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Extra time:3hr chilling  ›  Ready in:3hr25min 

  1. Make the jelly according to the instructions on the packet. Pour it into the container(s) you will serve it in and leave to set in fridge.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
  3. Make a sponge cake mixture. When putting on to tray to bake make sure you make it as flat and spaced out as possible.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until a skewer inserted near the centre comes out clean, about 12 minutes. Leave to cool after.
  5. When sponge has cooled, cut into small circles the size of the container(s) you will serve it in. Place in the container(s).
  6. Take the custard and pour on top of the sponge.
  7. Take the whipped cream and squirt it on top of the custard. Then place strawberries on top. Enjoy!
