Coconut, mango and pineapple smoothie

    This creamy fruit smoothie transports you to the tropics for breakfast! Use ripe mango when in season, or use tinned or frozen mango.

    • 1 ripe mango, cubed
    • 1 small banana
    • 150ml coconut milk
    • 100g pineapple pieces
    • 100ml orange juice

    1. Place fruit, coconut milk and orange juice into a blender. Puree until smooth.

    mmmm delicious! really nice for a healthy snack if you're peckish in the afternoon. the coconut milk makes it lovely and creamy.  -  16 May 2013


    Found this in the diabetic section. Not actually made this yet as I noticed something that if you have diabetes you should not go anywhere near & that's juice. Usually because most commercial juices have fructose or similar added to them. I'll try this with the juice of an actual orange which should then keep it as a "safe" occasional treat.  -  19 Apr 2015
