Roly poly loaf

    1 hour 25 min

This was originally a batch of fairy cakes, but I had made the mixture before I realised we had no cake cases. So this was put into a lined loaf tin with some jam and my husband told me it was just like jam roly poly, but in a loaf shape instead!

Great for a pudding after tea. Cooking time was too long in my oven so will reduce this next time.  -  15 May 2015

I just made this for a picnic on a bank holiday monday tomorrow, so easy to make and cook! added 90g of sugar cause of the jam as I found it too sweet, but good recipe!  -  05 May 2013
