About this recipe: Fun but fab. Love making this with kids. It's not expensive but looks great for occasions. Layers of biscuits, bananas, mousse, caramel, topped with cream and foam sweet bananas and crumbled flake.

Serves: 8 

  • 2 packets banana flavoured Angel Delight®
  • 1 pack chocolate digestives, crushed
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 300ml whipping cream
  • 1 (397g) tin caramel
  • 1 Flake® bar
  • 1 packet foam banana sweets

Prep:20min  ›  Extra time:20min chilling  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Make up Angel Delight® according to packet instructions. Chill.
  2. Prepare the ingredients: Crush the digestives with a rolling pin; slice the bananas; whip the whipping cream to stiff peaks; crush the Flake® bar.
  3. Once the Angel Delight® is ready, start layering the trifle, alternating between Angel Delight®, digestives, bananas, whipped cream and caramel.
  4. Finish with a layer of whipped cream and top with the crushed chocolate bar and banana sweets.


Small portions as this is very sweet.
