Method Prep:20min › Cook:30min › Ready in:50min
Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
Beat the eggs with the sugar and the lard or vegetable oil to mix well, then add the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate to make a soft dough.
Line a tin with baking paper and start making the bears. Make a small ball and flatten it a bit to make the body, another flattened ball for the head, press it lightly to the body to stick. Use the same technique for the other parts - hands, legs and the nose.
Bake in a preheated oven until the edges start getting golden. The rest would appear soft but will harden when cooled down.
Decorate with melted chocolate (break a bar of chocolate in a heatproof vessel and put it in water on low temperature, stirring constantly; you can use the microwave too but on low setting and for a very short time, stir, then put back again for a short time, otherwise the chocolate will burn)
To store the biscuits for longer (if that's possible :) you can put them in a airtight container and put a whole apple or carrot inside.
