Vegan super silky puff pastry

    Super silky puff pastry for vegans, and easy to make! Vegans and non-vegans alike will love this pastry.

    Serves: 6 

    • 200g vegan spread
    • 300g self-raising flour
    • 100ml water (room temperature)

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Extra time:30min chilling  ›  Ready in:1hr 

    1. Melt vegan spread till lukewarm in microwave. Place in large bowl and sift in the flour. Mix.
    2. Let cool till room temperature. Then add small parts of the water whist kneading the dough until the dough stops sticking to your hands. Then put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
    3. Once cooled, cover a clean counter, your hands and rolling pin with same flour and knead dough until dry enough to roll out. Roll out and place in buttered tray or pie dish. Put filling in and bake for 20 minutes or golden.


    Use lots of flour when kneading and rolling out.
