One of the first things i ever baked with my grandma. Although there's almond in the recipe, it doesn't give the biscuits any amaretti like flavour. Seriously, even if you don't like almond, try these biscuits.
The dough can appear rather dry in this recipe, don't worry about it, I often get a very dry dough, but the biscuits still come out fine.
The dough freezes really well, so you can make it in advance, freeze it, and thaw it when you want more biscuits.
