Minty lamb kebabs

    I really liked the kofte kebabs from my local take away so decided to attempt my own. Tastes great with pitta bread and a raita dip.

    Serves: 4 

    • 400g lamb mince
    • 1 teaspoon dried mint
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    • salt and black pepper to taste
    • 1/2 onion
    • 1 teaspoon garlic puree
    • 1 tablespoon gram flour

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Add all the ingredients to a blender. Blend until a smooth paste is formed. If the paste is too thin add more gram flour.
    2. Roll the paste into sausages and thread onto skewers.
    3. The kebabs can be cooked anyway you like, and both grill and barbecue work great. I prefer to use a health grill to reduce the fat.
