Pour water in a pitcher or other suitable container and then add the lemon juice and sugar. Mix well to ensure that the sugar is completely dissolved and lemon juice well diluted in water.
To save yourself from a lot of stirring, dissolve the sugar the easy way: combine the sugar with 1 or 2 tablespoons of water. Heat in the microwave or in a saucepan, then stir till the sugar is dissolved. Pour into the pitcher and stir to combine.
