Toffee and chocolate cheesecake

    This cake is going to be the best cake you've ever had because it's full of flavour. It has become a favourite of my friends and family. But it HAS to be covered with a layer of toffee sauce and chocolate icing - not optional!

    Serves: 8 

    • 1 (250g) packet digestive biscuits
    • 3 tablespoons Flora® buttery spread
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 4 tablespoons caster sugar
    • 300g cream cheese, softened
    • toffee sauce
    • chocolate icing

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:1min  ›  Extra time:50min chilling  ›  Ready in:1hr6min 

    1. Get a bowl and smash the digestive biscuits with your fingers one-by-one and then melt butter for 30 seconds in the microwave.
    2. When butter is ready, put it in the biscuit mixture, add lemon juice and caster sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 20cm springform pan and then put it in the fridge.
    3. Get a different bowl and put the cream cheese to it and then spread it all over the biscuit mixture and put it in the freezer for 30 minutes.
    4. When ready put in the fridge for 20 minutes and then add loooooooooooots of toffee sauce and looooooooots of chocolate icing.


    Use a spoon to spread the cheese all over the biscuit mixture to make life easier.

    It is scrumptious. First time I made it, It was alright. I found it easy. Normally I used to buy the cake. But I did think the toffee sauce was quite challenging to find. Thanks  -  23 Dec 2012
