Spicy pork ribs

    These spicy pork ribs will be tender and juicy when you cook them low and slow. Serve them with plenty of napkins - they are best eaten with your hands.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 rack pork ribs
    • 5 teaspoons paprika
    • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
    • 2 teaspoons chilli powder
    • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
    • 1 teaspoon dark soft brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 100ml barbecue sauce

    1. Preheat the oven to 150 C / Gas 2.
    2. Whisk the paprika, thyme, chilli powder, coriander, garlic granules, brown sugar, salt and pepper together in a small bowl. Rub the spice mixture over both sides of the pork.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours. Remove from the oven and brush both sides with the barbecue sauce. Return to the oven to bake for 30 more minutes.


    In a pinch, you can substitute ketchup for the barbecue sauce.
