About this recipe: I amazed my family by preparing these muffins for a picnic. It smelled fantastic in the house while I was cooking! Easy to carry and amazement is guaranteed!


Makes: 12 muffins

  • 400g plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 300ml milk
  • 150g grated Comté cheese
  • 400g crab meat

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5; grease muffin tins (or line with paper cases).
  2. In a bowl mix together flour and baking powder; add eggs and stir with a wooden spoon, then add milk, cheese and crab meat. Do not overmix.
  3. Spoon mixture into prepared muffin tins and bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Let cool 15 minutes before serving.
