    About this recipe: Big, chewy, gooey chocolate chip cookies that taste equally delicious warm or cool. They're freezer friendly, too!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 75g butter, melted
    • 1 egg
    • 80g caster sugar
    • 150g plain flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 150g chocolate chips

    Method

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Butter a baking tray.
    2. Beat the butter, egg and caster sugar together in a bowl until smooth. Sieve the plain flour with the baking powder and salt.
    3. Stir the flour mixture gradually into the butter mixture until fully incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips. Using a spoon, form 6 cookies on the baking tray, leaving plenty of space between cookies to spread.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 10 minutes.
