Bring a small saucepan of salted water to the boil; add periwinkles and let boil for 1 minute; drain.
Meanwhile, bring another pot of salted water to the boil and add whelks; boil for 5 minutes and drain.
Bring another pot of salted water to the boil and add prawns; boil for 5 minutes and drain.
Arrange winkles, whelks and prawns on a serving plate or platter and serve with mayonnaise for dipping.
