    About this recipe: We always made this whilst at university!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 4 large beef sausages
    • 200ml Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 handful minced garlic
    • 4 small potatoes, peeled and diced
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1 tablespoon milk
    • 4 to 6 tablespoons garlic cream cheese
    • 1 handful parsley
    • 2 onions, chopped
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Extra time:30min marinating  ›  Ready in:1hr 

    1. Marinate sausages in Worcestershire sauce and garlic for 30 minutes.
    2. Meanwhile, boil the diced potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, cream cheese, parsley and a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
    3. Grill sausages with onions until no longer pink. Add onions directly to mash, stir. Serve and enjoy!

    Good meal, very easy. I found that there was quite a lot of Worchestershire sauce for our tastes, so next time I might cut it down a bit. - 16 Dec 2012
