Preheat the grill.
Place the pitta breads on a large baking tray, spread each pitta bread with 1 tablespoon of the tomato puree, sprinkle mixed herbs over the top of each, then lay on the tomato slices. Divide the salami between the pittas and sprinkle over the cheese.
Grill until the cheese is golden and bubbling, about 5 minutes.
