About this recipe: Chicken breasts are topped with salsa, crushed tortilla chips and cheese, with a dollop of sour cream!

Serves: 4 

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • salt
  • 1 jar mild salsa (or use hot salsa if you want it really spicy)
  • 40g tortilla chips
  • 60g Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (150ml) pot soured cream

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Put the chicken breasts onto a large baking tray, sprinkle with salt, then slash each of them 3 times with a knife.
  2. Spoon 1 tablespoon of salsa on top of each.
  3. Crush the tortilla chips, then sprinkle over the chicken, then top with the cheese.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until the topping is golden and melting, about 20 minutes.
  5. Once they are done, serve with a dollop of sour cream either beside or on top. Enjoy!

Serving suggestion

Serve with wedges or chips and salad. Could even be served with rice!
