About this recipe:This stuffed kohlrabi is tender, full of flavour and very tasty. In this dish the kohlrabi is filled with minced turkey, mushrooms and herbs and is a nourishing supper for the whole family.
4 medium kohlrabi
oil, as needed for cooking
1 onion, chopped
3 mushrooms, chopped
100g cooked rice
250g minced turkey
1/2 bunch dill, chopped
1 teaspoon herbes de Provence
1 teaspoon dried basil
salt and pepper, to taste
2 teaspoons unsalted butter

Wash, peel and trim the kohlrabi, scoop out the flesh and set aside.
In a frying pan, heat the oil and cook and stir the onion and mushrooms until soft.
In a bowl, combine cooked rice, turkey, dill, onion and mushrooms, mix well. Season with herbs and salt and pepper.
Stuff the kohlrabi with the mixture, place in a saucepan, cover with water to half of their height, add 2 tablespoons butter to the pan and simmer covered for approximately 25 minutes until tender.
