Oven-baked fish fillet with mushrooms

    A simple fish dish - white fish fillet baked with tomatoes and mushrooms in cream sauce.

    Serves: 5 

    • 200g mushrooms (e.g. button or shiitake)
    • 1 onion
    • 2 tablespoons oil for cooking
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 tomatoes
    • 500g white fish fillet
    • 250ml cream

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
    2. Slice mushrooms. Cut onions into half rings. Saute onion and mushroom in oil. Season with salt.
    3. Slice tomatoes. Cut the fish into small chunks.
    4. Arrange the sliced tomatoes on the bottom of an oven proof dish. Place the fish on top. Top the fish with sautéed mushrooms and onion.
    5. Season the cream with salt and pepper and pour over the fish.
    6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
